Dineaid Collection Options

For Dineaid 2012 there are 4 collection options - you choose:

Option 1

Best fundraiser overall

Table Card (quick & easy)

Option 1 (Table Card)
BEFORE November 1st
  • Programme your POS/Till with (DineAid $2) button OR re-open last year's
  • DineAid print packs should arrive no later than Oct 28th
  • Train & brief shift managers and service team – Hand out Team info cards
  • Place window decal in restaurant window glass

Daily How To
(November 1st - Dec 31st)

  • Place clean DineAid table talkers on each table
  • Briefing – Check today’s team have their Info cards and know what to say to customers
  • When guest asks for bill, service team member asks “Would you like to add the DineAid $2 for City Missions
  • Press DineAid $2 button and add to Table bill

Option 2

Practical for Outside dining

Bill Fold + Menu

Option 2 (Bill Fold + Menu)
BEFORE November 1st
  • Programme your POS/Till with (DineAid $2) button OR re-open last year's
  • DineAid print packs should arrive no later than Oct 28th
  • Train & brief shift managers and service team – Hand out Team info cards
  • Menus – add info line on bottom of menu: “During Nov/Dec we invite diners to donate an optional $2 per table for NZ City Missions”
  • Place window decal in restaurant window glass

  • Briefing – Check today’s team have their Info cards and know what to say to customers
  • When guest asks for bill, service team member asks "Would you like to add the DineAid $2 for City Missions"

Pay at cash desk only

Cafe Collection Box

Cash Desk + Menu

Option 4 (Cash Can)

FROM November 1st
  • Train and brief Shift managers and team
  • Place decal in Window
  • Check Coin collection box is visible beside the till
  • Keep the ASB banking bags safe
  • When guests come to pay at the till, service team member asks "Would you like to add the DineAid $2 for City Missions"
  • "Banking the coins" Instructions are on the back of your coin box
