WHO WE ARE

DINEAID is a charity that has provided a helping hand to New Zealanders in need since 2012.

It was founded by a group of caring New Zealand restaurateurs to raise money through participating restaurants across the country and support food banks in our three biggest cities.

Currently, 1 in 5 New Zealanders do not have enough food to meet their health and wellbeing needs.

Dine Aid is working to connect those who can enjoy a meal out, with those who are experiencing food insecurity. By adding just $2 to your bill at the end of the meal, or selecting a Dine Aid dish on the menu, you are directly helping to feed those in poverty this November & December.

We are aiming to raise over $80,000 over this year’s campaign nation wide – 100% of funds raised go to the City Mission for food this Christmas.

The DineAid annual Christmas campaign raises money for the Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch City Mission Foods Banks who distribute food at close to 140 separate locations throughout the South and North Island.

Get involved

It’s easy to lend a helping hand – by either adding a voluntary donation of just $2 per table to your customer’s bills. Or by creating a DINEAID special on the menu, with $2 from every dish going to the cause.
